As part of the student development process, students attending NizaTennis programs are encouraged to participate in the fall-winter team tennis leagues organized by local tennis clubs and associations, within the metropolitan Washington D.C. area.

The format of play for the mixed (boys & girls) leagues, are two singles of boy and girl, two doubles boys and girls and one mixed doubles per match (Subject To Coordinator Changes during local league play); with all matches scored on a two 4 game pro-set with no add-scoring; a twelve point tie breaker will be played at three games even (all).  Whereas, the format and rules for the single gender-neutral league team match consists of 4 rounds of one singles and one double; one set (6 games, no-ad scoring, with a regular game played at 5-5 and on serve, no tiebreakers).
